NEW MIMS HOUSE BOOKS

At Mims House, we are jumping up and down with news of new books.

HOT OFF THE PRESS - Children's Books Council

The Children's Book Council has named I AM THE THIRSTY DESERT a Hot Off the Press Book. Wahoo! Illustrator Kim Jordan will be guest posting on March 15 about her unusual collage techniques.

“…informative, effective, and poetic introduction to a desert’s beauty and complexity.” Kirkus Reviews

The book launches March 14, but as always, you can get it early on our website. This is a lyrical narrative from the point of view of the desert itself about a storm that results in a superbloom.
