Mims House’s free eBook of the Month is the non-political and true story of a fake news story. In 1937, news came from Nantucket Island, just off the shore of Boston, that a sea monster had been sighted. The news spread across the United States via reports on the news wires. Fake news reports. The newspapermen involved all knew that it wasn’t real, and yet, they published the articles anyway.
What was the sea monster?
